5) Next version was version 5 of PHP which came out in the year 2004.Developers had made the improvements and added other elements to it which made it super cool. 6) Coming up to the future trends, Version 6 was not official anytime but still around the roundtable it comes into existence. There were lots of encoding problem and thus the PHP Version 6 was discontinued to be published.
7) Latest version available is Version 7. Bunch of new technologies have been used which support dirname() function. The old and unsupported SAPIs and extensions are removed from the latest version. So,it has become the world’s most popular programming language.
